Kofago Dance Ensemble Presents the 7th Annual Presentation: "UNITY" (Obumu)
Kofago Dance Ensemble is excited to announce the 7th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration, centered around the theme of "Obumu" (UNITY) for2024. This year’s event emphasizes the strength and togetherness that define our community, bringing people together to celebrate the principles of Kwanzaa.
About the Theme: "UNITY" (Obumu)
This year’s theme, "UNITY," or "Obumu" in the language of the Baganda people of Uganda, represents the collective strength and shared purpose that defines our community. The Kwanzaa Celebration will showcase the power of togetherness through the vibrant rhythms and movements of African diasporic dance. "Obumu" reflects the importance of coming together to honor our rich cultural heritage and fosters a deeper connection among all who participate.
